Pork Shoulder Roast with Very Berry Finishing Sauce
6-8 lb. pork shoulder
1 packet of American Stockyard All Purpose Rub
1 jar of Very Berry Chipotle Sauce
1/2 c. of water
Rub pork with seasoning and let stand for 2 hours in refrigerator. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place roast in dutch oven or large covered roasting pan. Bake for 2.5- 3 hrs or until tender. Remove lid or foil and bake at 400 degrees F until browned, about 30 minutes. Let rest 20-30 minutes before slicing. Meanwhile, bring the jar of Very Berry Chipotle sauce and ½ cup water to a simmer. Slice the pork shoulder and serve with the sauce drizzled over the slices. Yield 10-12 servings
