Juan's Beef and Rice
2 lb. of ground beef
1/2 diced onion (medium)
4 oz. can of diced green chilies
8 oz. can of tomato sauce
15.5 oz jar of Fiesta Juan's Cilantro Salsa
2 c. of water
3 tbsp of chili seasoning
1 c. of raw rice
In a large skillet, brown the beef 10-12 minutes or until cooked through. Drain off the excess grease. Add in the water, chili seasoning and the Fiesta Juan's Cilantro Salsa. Stir well over high heat until the mixture begins to boil. Add in the remaining ingredients and lower the heat to low. Stir until well combined, cover and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour until the rice is fully cooked. Yield: 6 large servings
